2026 partner brochures — Les 5 Étoiles de Pau
Centaure Production Graphic Design Editorial Design Layout Art Direction
For a collaboration with the agency
Centaure Production, I was tasked — in a duo with
Marie Durin — with designing the entire partner-facing editorial system for the 2026 edition of
Les 5 Étoiles de Pau. The event is an international equestrian competition
unique in France and one of only seven CCI 5* events in the world, the highest level that exists in eventing.
Four breathtaking days riding the gallop of the planet's greatest champions.
Brief
Centaure Production needed a partner-brochure system
perfectly aligned with the event's brand identity (typography, palette, photographic treatment) and able to present four distinct offers to its sponsors without breaking visual cohesion. Our scope covered the entire editorial chain: content architecture, hierarchy of offers, layout, image curation and final preparation for both print and digital distribution.
My scope
I led the art direction and the InDesign layout of the system. Type choices, grids, visual hierarchy, photographic treatment, integration of pricing, pictograms and sponsorship plans — everything was designed so a partner could spot the offer that fits them in seconds.
A two-person workflow
Working in a duo with Marie Durin let us iterate quickly on every layout, cross-check the cover decisions and guarantee perfect consistency across the four brochures — each one standalone yet speaking the exact same visual language.
The editorial system: four brochures, one identity
The partnership offering is segmented into four engagement territories, each with its own brochure. The cover, the black-and-white chromatic frame, the
22-25 October 2026 date band and the Les 5 Étoiles de Pau logo serve as the visual thread tying the four documents together.
1. Event presentation
The
cornerstone brochure. 14 pages laying down the event's DNA: 40,000 visitors, 400 volunteers, 120 exhibitors, 15 nations, the spectacular triathlon (dressage, cross-country, show jumping), the global media coverage and the 2026 programme. This is the brochure that opens the conversation with a potential partner.
2. On-site visibility
Physical visibility offers across the venue: cross-country obstacle, jumping obstacle, video advertising on the giant screens, exhibitor stand, and signage on the main arena. The brochure ties together
net pricing, technical specs (dimensions, exposure duration) and photographic highlights so that partners can visualise their investment instantly.
3. Hospitality offer
The VIP packages: gourmet lunches at private tables, private boxes at the lakeside during the cross, full privatisation of the VIP area. A brochure designed for the
strategic invitations companies want to extend to clients or collaborators, with extra care given to the photographic register to make the experience feel real.
4. Digital communication
The digital extension of sponsorship: logo placement on the official website, presence across social networks, integration into Les 5 Étoiles de Pau TV broadcasts and into the mobile app. This brochure puts the emphasis on
media reach and on the precision of the placement options offered.
Outcome
This project let me put into practice a piece of
dense, tightly framed editorial design, with real constraints around inter-document consistency, pricing hierarchy and B2B communication. Co-leading art direction with Marie Durin was an excellent exercise in collaborative methodology: rapid production, cross-validations, and a final deliverable aligned with the demands of an internationally renowned event.
